Yearly Preview for All Zodiac Signs!

Hello, Friends!!  2022 is coming to an end and 2023 is just around the corner!!!  For my New Year’s gift to you, I wanted to do a Mini-Reading where I just pull out 1 card for each Zodiac Sign.  Also, you may notice that there’s a small bunny on the Reading space.  That’s because 2023 will welcome the Chinese Year of the Rabbit!  So cute!  Let’s see what I pulled out for each of you during this 2023! 

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

For my dear Aries friends, I drew The High Priestess for your 2023 Mini-Reading.  An Aries carries the Element of Fire and, as a result, tend to have great, dynamic energy.  They are also ruled by the Planet Mars, which is one of determination and action.  Thus, an Aries might have the habit of acting quickly before thinking.  As the first Zodiac Sign, an Aries does want to be first, move fast, and be an “idealistic straight shooter.”  However, the High Priestess carries the Element of Water and asks you to do something different than usual this coming year.  She represents wisdom, secrets, and the spiritual world.  This year, she may gift you hidden knowledge, strong intuition, significant dreams, or even psychic experiences.  However, to do that, you need time for privacy and self-incubation.  You’ll need to go inward and deepen your relationship with your higher self.  This can be difficult for an Aries.  However, by trusting your internal knowing and keeping to your own counsel on secrets and nurtured projects, good things will come to you.  The High Priestess says you should explore your spiritual side for 2023.  Remember, my Rams, your dominant key phrase is “I Am.”  So take the time to learn more about yourself, follow your intuition, and connect with your spirit guides.  They will give you advice and point you in the direction of good things to come.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

My adorable Taurus was given The Emperor for 2023.  The Emperor represents control, ambition, security, and order.  This card brings balance and reveals a mastery of life.  It predicts my Bull friends overcoming problems in 2023 through single-mindedness and careful planning.  As a Taurus, you carry the Element of Earth, so you know how to plan and are practical by nature.  Also, as a Zodiac Sign of Fixed Quality, you are stable, purposeful, resolute, and relentless.  You are also able to focus and take things to completion and follow through.  While you may have a stubborn side, this and all of your other traits can work in your favor in 2023.  By using your natural strengths, you can bring about a huge positive difference in the coming year.  It may be a year that will bring about an improvement of circumstances and a return to order.  It’s possible a trustworthy person will offer protection, but you can also trust yourself to make the right decisions.  So this is the time to live in the present and utilize your wisdom, others’ skills, and your inner drive to take the next steps.  For 2023, The Emperor declares that you should take control because you are protected.  A Taurus’s dominant key phrase is: “I Have.”  Embrace it.  Take charge.  You can do it.  Everything will turn out ok in the end.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

For 2023’s Mini-Reading, my awesome Gemini friends received the Temperance card, which is one of healing, reconciliation, and angelic guidance.  Maybe 2022 was a tough year and/or maybe 2023 may have some difficult or even volatile situations.  2023 may be a time for reconciliation in an area of your life that is seemingly off balance.  So there will be a need to temper your thoughts and actions to find balance and harmony.  When faced with what seems like only 2 options, choose neither one nor the other.  Instead, choose a combination of these two opposing forces to create and inspired solution.  Feels what is most natural to you and accept both sides of a situation.  Remember, as a Gemini you can be one with two personalities, such as (1) being quick-witted, communicative, suddenly being serious and thoughtful and (2) being expressive, social, ready for fun, and sometimes restless.  You have the natural ability to be open-minded and flexible.  So you are more than capable of coming up with solutions that balances multiple potential approaches to a problem.  This year, you will have a stronger connection to your spirit guides than usual, so take note of any signs given to you by them, such as in the form of a friend or stranger’s advice.  2023 could even be the beginning of a spiritual journey for you.  In 2023, Temperance will guide you to find peace.  Remember my dear Twins, your dominant key phrase is “I Think.”  Trust your spirit guides and they will help point you in the right direction to coming up with the best solution that will lead you to peace.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

For my sweet friends of the Cancer Zodiac Sign, The Moon was revealed.  It represents dreams, a crisis (such as one of faith), illusions, emotional vulnerability, and confusion.  This card shows potential misgivings about a situation because you’re not sure that what you see is the truth.  2023 may be a time of deep emotional conflict and a more private struggle.  This may be especially difficult because as a Crab, you tend to be sentimental, emotional, and sensitive.  A Cancer’s dominant key phrase is “I Feel.”  So use your gifts for they will help you.  You may be asked to take a risk that will broaden your life experience.  You’ll have to make a decision and must rely on your senses, not logic, to make the wisest choice.  You can do this more naturally than others since you tend to follow your heart.  During difficult times, The Moon asks you to dive deep and examine the underlying, real cause of unrest.  This may be painful, but you can absolutely do it.  Both Cancer and The Moon carry the Element of Water.  It shows a connectedness for you are well equipped to help not only others with deep, inner emotional struggles, but also yourself.  The Moon also governs the Cancer Zodiac Sign!  This is a beautiful sign that you are deeply linked to this card and the Moon will shine bright to reflect your subconscious world and deepest self.  The Moon gifts you with unconscious messages that will guide you in 2023.  So pay attention to them for they should help you find the answers and guidance that may help you.  Take note of your intuitive messages and dreams and acknowledge valid sources of information.  They will lead you in the right direction.  2023 will not be solely about the difficulties.  Rather, it will provide you the opportunity to grow exponentially by overcoming these obstacles by trusting your senses, unconscious messages, and diving deep into the actual sources of your struggles.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

For 2023, my fierce Leos were given The Fool.  This card symbolizes beginnings, innocence, and calculated risk.  It reminds you that it’s never too late to start again, begin anew, and follow your heart’s desire.  As a Lion, you are proud of your desires and carry a lot of self-confidence and capability of achieving anything you are committed to completing.  Of course, there may be challenges, but 2023 is the year to take that leap of faith.  If you plan sensibly beforehand, it’s an auspicious time to embark on new things.  It’s time for optimism and a fresh perspective.  There’s the opportunity to start over, feel young again, or become excited for a new way of living.  The Fool is the embodiment of your spirit that is ready to explore and discover great things.  The Sun governs your sign and may gift you that confidence to take that exciting jump into something new.  However!  For 2023, The Fool gives you the wisdom message to go for it but be prepared first.   Be sure to actually look before your leap!  Once you make your decision, you can push forward and not look back.  So have courage, commitment, and live fully in the moment.  As a Fixed Quality Sign, you are stable, resolute, purposeful, and relentless so tap into those natural traits.  In the end, there can be an upcoming “sigh of relief” now that you’re welcoming the new and traveling forward lightly. emember, your dominant key phrase is “I Will.”  And you will be able to do it.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

For my beloved Virgos, I drew The Empress for your 2023 Mini-Reading.  She represents many things, including abundance, material comfort, creativity, generosity, sensuality and security, and emotional support.  It’s considered an auspicious card for families and children for it shows harmony at your home.  If you’re single, 2023 shows a good time to begin a relationship.  Virgos are governed by the Planet Mercury, which is all about communication, including expression through words (mental) and hands (physical).  So have Mercury guide you in maintaining clear, positive communications between you and your relationships to help maintain this foreseen harmony.  2023 could be the year where your creative projects thrive, and you prosper financially.  For this coming year, you can feel rest assured that your needs will be met.  Perhaps there will be a nurturing mother-figure in your life who will provide support and a positive influence.  The Empress wants to reassure you that 2023 will be one where life is abundant.  A Virgo’s dominant key phrase is “I Analyze.”  So use your strengths as a Zodiac Sign of Earth (one who is plans, works hard, and value material things in life), Mutable Quality (one who is naturally adaptable/flexible), and of Mercury (to maintain clear, positive communications) to achieve your goals.  When abundance comes your way in 2023, embrace it!  You’ve earned it!

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

For my precious Libras, the 2023 Mini-Reading showed The Hierophant, which represents spiritual direction, self-realization, expansion, education, support, and unity.  If you’re thinking of pursuing education, this may be a great, auspicious year to do so.  This card suggests 2023 will be an important year to develop spiritually and emotionally.  This may be the time to commit to relationships, to think and philosophize.  Also, the Scales are encouraged to become more spiritually aware and integrate their mind and spirit to a higher place of awareness.  The Hierophant represents traditional values and institutions, wise counsel, and the opportunity to question and define your own values.  This card also symbolizes good judgment, fairness, and 2023 may be the year to do what is right if you are questioning a decision.  This is important to remember because Libras are known to struggle when forced to make a decision or pick a side in an argument.  As a Sign of Cardinal Quality, Libras tend to build their rationale and decision step-by-step, brick-by-brick.  However, while energy or life in general can slow down, Libras can make progress in their specific direction that is in their or others’ best interest.   In 2023, The Hierophant wants you to make the most of your gifts.  The dominant key phrase for Libras is “I Balance.”  Libras carry the Air Element and The Hierophant carries the Earth Element.  This is a perfect balance for Earth keeps Air Signs “grounded” by providing the concrete tools to help them succeed in overall development and personal growth.  So let The Hierophant be your guide in maintaining a balanced life with spiritual growth and self-realization in 2023.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

For my super Scorpios, I drew Justice for your preview of 2023, which is a card of balance, perception, and objectivity.  It shows a positive outcome and 2023 may be a year when past errors or imbalances can be redressed.  This year you may benefit from a fair system, as long as you are accountable, honest, and deserving.  Scorpions are governed by the Planet Pluto in Modern Astrology, which highlights a transformation in negative energies or events.  So while things may take a quite negative turn, remember that things will transform for the better at some point.  On a spiritual level, 2023 may be a year where you experience the working out of karma, actions, and consequences.  Pluto will guide you on a deep, internal change that may be scary at times, but will be greatly beneficial in the long run.  Regarding relationships, 2023 is important for balance and practical issues, but remember to take care of your emotional needs at the same time.  Scorpions carry the Water Element, which makes them at times very emotional, extra sensitive, and highly tuned with their emotions.  So 2023 may be different because you may be feeling a tendency to push back on these Water traits.  But remember there is a balance to maintain.  For example, one way to tend to your emotional needs is to make sure to maintain a good work-life balance this year.  Justice predicts that with the right values, rewards will come to you in 2023.  A Scorpion’s dominant key phrase is “I Desire.”  You can safeguard your future and your desires by making good decisions with integrity and perspective.  

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

For 2023, I drew Strength for my wonderful Sagittarius friends.  This card symbolizes strength, patience, and tension.  Both a Sagittarius and the card Strength carry the Element of Fire.  So this card may be asking you to reflect on your natural, personal qualities and utilize your strengths and work on your weaknesses to achieve a positive outcome this year.   In 2023, you will turn to your higher self for personal, self-guidance.  A Sagittarius tends to use their fiery energy on themselves, so this may not be so new.  Also in 2023, you’ll utilize your strength of character when facing pressure.  Determination, courage, and patience will be needed for it’s the time to get a situation or person under control (which should not be much a problem for a Sagittarius!).  Even if the tension is great, always remember to act with sensitivity and grace rather than with brute force.  This may be difficult for an Archer because they can be too honest and unintentionally hurt the feelings of others if they’re not careful.  As a result, you should practice and learn to express their valid opinions in a tolerant, sensitive, and more socially acceptable manner.  On a positive note, this card is auspicious for leadership, so if you’re thinking about taking on a challenge, you are ready, so stand firm.  Others may resist, but if you’re consistent in your actions, good results will follow.   In 2023, you may take a raw idea and develop some creative project from it.  You may refine this project (such as a document, artwork, or prototype) without sacrificing its spirit or depleting your personal energy.  In 2023, always remember that with strength, you can discover your higher purpose.  An Archer’s key dominant phrase is “I See.”  Your Planet Jupiter wants to guide you on your journey to discovering meaning and purpose for your life.  So to grow personally into your higher self, utilize your natural gifts, work on your weaknesses, and turn to self-guidance on your path to success.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

My sweet Capricorn friends for 2023 was given The Magician.  This positive card represents success, creativity, and action.  2023 will be your time for action, including, but not necessarily limited to, communicating and expressing your ideas and desires.  The Magician beckons you to broaden your horizons.  2023 may be a time of new beginnings, such as a new relationship, commitment, new employment, or a new direction in life or existing work.  You’ll have the drive to push plans forward and perhaps take new creative approaches.  As a Cardinal Quality Sign, Capricorns will get inspired and driven to start things and always be “go, go, go” without taking breaks, they may become burnt out or lack the energy to follow through their long-term goals to the very end.  So plan ahead so you can follow through completely on your goals and desires.  Also, think laterally, ask questions, trust your internal guidance, and let go of procrastination.  In 2023, you’ll have the ability to transform whatever you choose.  Thus, step into your power and make the most of your skills, strengths, and talents.  Spiritually speaking, 2023 shows to be a year where you connect with your higher power or true self while acting with pure intention.   The Magician wants you to manifest your desires in 2023.  A significant journey may unfold this year.  A Goat’s dominant key phrase is “I Use.”  Use your gifts and follow through on your upcoming journey to succeed in fulfilling your desires and ideas.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

The Tower was revealed for my amazing Aquarius friends.  This card carries meanings of destruction, an abrupt change or end, and enlightenment.  The sudden change could come in the form of a collapse of an ideal, dream, organization/work, or relationship.  2023 might be a difficult year for you because as a Fixed Quality Sign, you can sometimes be quite stubborn, do not like change and may have a hard time with transitions of various kinds. The Tower can represent a shattered ego, which may leave you feeling vulnerable and/or confused.  Keep in mind during this potentially quite difficult time that these sudden changes and challenges will be inevitable and beyond your control.The Tower may come across and disastrous and menacing.  HOWEVER!  After this storm of chaos, things will become clear.  In 2023 you must surrender to its power because it will offer a huge shift in awareness, even if the benefits may not be so obvious right away.  The Tower is also a card with the message to release to gain enlightenment and receive the benefits that will become known in time.  In 2023, the Tower suggests you must surrender to what comes your way.  Your dominant key phrase as a Water-Bearer is “I Know.”  Know that some things are beyond your control and some things are inevitable to suddenly change.  That’s ok.  If you believe in a higher power, spirit guides, or the Universe, know that they may have something specific planned for you and a reason for why things happen when and how they do.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

My passionate Pisces received The Star for their 2023 Mini-Reading, which represents inspiration, hope, creativity, and guidance.  If things felt difficult for you in 2022, have faith that your luck will change for the better this coming new year.  A Fish’s dominant key phrase is “I Believe.”  Believe that things are temporary, and the cycle will change for the better in the future.  In 2023, you can begin to appreciate everything life has to offer, including better physical health and spiritual well-being.  This may be the year when beauty and creativity flows!  For your home, you may feel inspired to create beauty or style, so crat projects or designs are especially favored this year.  However, as a Mutable Quality Sign, you tend to have your hands on many things at once, resulting in your focus and attention are split amongst them all.  As a result, you can come across as “scattered” to the other Signs and unable to properly follow through on a single project at a time.  Try to find ways to learn how to maintain complete focus so your dreams actually come into completion.  In relationships and projects, you can be fully expressed and share your life, talents, and gifts with others.  If you are or want to be an entrepreneur, 2023 may be the year to begin a new business or you may discover a hidden talent that can be put to good use.  Pisces are naturally selfless and always inclined to help others but may have to remind themselves that they might not receive something in return.  Allow your Star quality to shine in 2023, for your efforts are actually appreciated, even if not obviously expressed by others.  Financially speaking, you should have good luck and your hard work will start to pay off regarding your long-term goals.  Spiritually speaking, you may feel more intuitive and insightful.  Also, you may have more trust in the messages given to you from your spirit guides or angels.  The Star wants you to be inspired in 2023, because dreams can come true this year.  So believe in yourself, trust your spirit guides, and feel rest assured that the Universe has something planned for you that’s in your best interest.

Deck Used

For this 2023 Mini-Reading, I used the Czech language version of the classic, traditional Rider-Waite Tarot Deck.  I do not know where one can find this lovely edition other than visiting a local bookstore or shop in the Czech Republic (which is where I got mine). I usually recommend beginners purchase a Rider-Waite Deck to start with, since that is considered the most popular or classic version.
