Monthly Preview for Aries & Taurus
Below is a little reading for those whose birthdays fall in April: my Aries and Taurus friends. This is just a single-card reading to give an overview of what to possibly expect. It also sends a message that you can keep in mind and use to help guide you through this upcoming month.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
For April 2022, I drew the the Page of Cups. Here you see a mermaid emerging from the water. It’s night with the Moon overhead and there appears to be evidence of a shipwreck and skulls are near her. You may think that she’s a deadly siren who have led men to their deaths with her songs. But that’s not the case. She’s real and the image of your inner creative energy that is going to launch forth, just as she is from the ocean. The skulls and wreckage represent those who stop dreaming and fail to listen to their hearts. This mermaid is sending you the reminder message to listen to your heart in being romantic and youthful. As an Aries, you can have a tendency to be short-tempered or aggressive. Try your best to utilize your Fire Element of passion and enthusiasm. Also, this card reminds you to keep dreaming so you feel inspired and free. As a mermaid swims with the flow of water, you can make your magical dreams a reality with your inspiration and hope. You, a Ram, tend to be optimistic and determined by nature. You also have the natural gifts of courage, confidence, and determination. Use them! When you have your dreams and heart in mind, you can achieve great joy and happiness.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
For my Taurus friends, I drew the 2 of Swords for April 2022. There’s a mermaid holding a shell close to her heart and the Sun rising in the distance. She sits atop wreckage and there’s an unconscious man floating next to her. This month, you’ll have a decision to make. It won’t be easy and you may have the internal battle of your mind versus your heart. On one hand, this mermaid could rescue the man. On the other hand, she may need to let him drown. As a Taurus, you are naturally stable and responsible. So this conflict of interest between the heart and mind may be unsettling. Normally you are able to make decisions easier than most with your practicality. In April, you might find yourself overlooking this vast ocean of doubt. You’ll have pressure to make your choice quickly and you can’t escape it. This mermaid reminds you that you need to dig deep to find the answer that lies within you. You’ll have to look into your heart and that can be scary sometimes. This may be especially true because as a Bull, you can be stubborn and uncompromising, meaning that you may resist looking too deep within you due to fear. Sometimes we have to take a hard look at ourselves and face the truth of the situation in order to come to the best solution. A Taurus carries the valuable Earth Element, which allows you to being able to plan and work hard into putting that plan into action. Trust that you will make the reasonable choice that is the best one given the circumstances presented to you. As the Sun is rising beyond this mermaid, now is the time to make your decision.
